MC Skibadee is one of the biggest players on the scene. Simply a legend in drum and bass all over the world, his name is synonymous with the art of the MC. After nearly 18 years in the business, he is still at the very top and continues to win awards (2011 best crowd hype MC) year after year. Skibba's instantly recognisable voice, lyrics, speed and energy are unmatched in the game.
Skibz came through in his teens in the early 90's but always sounded way above his years. He started on Kool FM in 94' hosting for DJ Wildchild and within a year was the number one MC getting bookings at all the top raves. Him and MC Det formed 2xfreestyle around 1998 and smashed up Kool FM and raves all over the UK, in 1999 he teamed up with MC Shabba D to form the infamous S.A.S collaboration. More recently he was a member of UNCZ alongside MC Fun, Harry Shotta, DrEPS and DJ Ruffstuff.
Skibadee appeared on the jungle anthems Don't wanna know (Shy FX and T-Power) and Twist em' out (Dillinja).
In between being a drum and bass celebrity, touring across the world and appearing on radio shows Skibba has released a few hip hop and grime efforts as well (including one with US rapper Canibus) and the UNCZ remix of Pass Out riddim.
His nickname is scaramanga in reference to his last name.
Skibz has recently taken a break from U.N.C.Z's to concentrate on his solo career.
