Rebel MC

Rebel MC got to number 3 in the UK charts with the single "street tuff" in 1988. He started chatting over acid house and techno in the late 80's and many people thought he'd sold out to the mainstream. Luckily for us, all the money he made was invested in a studio, sound system and a truck load of 'erb. He grew a beard and massive dreadlocks and formed Conquering Lion/Congo Natty pressin' the best Ragga Jungle ever made introducing acts like Buju Banton, Beanie man, Cutty Ranks, Tenor Fly, Demolition man and the legendary Top Cat to the land of Jungle.
